I've tried to make a few games in the past but always stopped part-way through. I decided to challenge myself this year by giving myself a one-month deadline, a new engine (Godot) and a tutorial on youtube.

This is my first attempt at seeing a game through to the end and publishing it.

It was fun. I deviated from the tutorial when writing my code in order to learn faster. And I came up with new ideas to see if I could figure them out on my own, such as health and an upgrade system.

Also peep the secret bonus room for a nice little reward.

I currently plan to use this as a prototype to build a new game with unique assets, more mechanics and a longer playtime.
